Mrs. Jack Maynard of Annapolis celebrated her 80th birthday at a surprise luncheon on New Year's Eve. The luncheon was held at The Treaty of Paris restaurant at the Maryland Inn in Annapolis. Mrs. Maynard's four daughters planned this special party to honor their mother. Her daughters are Mrs. Bruce Hopkins of Spotsylvania, Va., Mrs. John Pierpont of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Greg Barton of Chester and Mrs. Jeff Scott of Bristol, Va. Also in attendance were Mrs. Maynard's four sons-in-law, 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, as well as several other relatives and family friends. The participants enjoyed the delicious luncheon at The Treaty of Paris, the comfortable lodging at the Maryland Inn, and numerous Annapolis First Night activities. The photo was taken in the lobby of the Maryland Inn.
