Sharon is worried about her 20-year-old daughter, Caroline, who's struggling in her classes at the community college. Caroline always starts the semester with lots of enthusiasm. However, it seems that she regularly becomes embroiled in some drama with a friend that leads to her being unable to focus on her schoolwork.
Not only do Caroline's grades drop into the failing range, but invariably her friend ends up dropping out of the relationship with her.
