The Maryland State Department of Education is once again administering the Summer Food Program Service to provide free meals to low-income children in Maryland.
Organizations serving summer meals include private nonprofit organizations, government agencies, public or nonprofit private school systems and summer camps. The program, which runs through early to mid-August, is open to children and teens up to age 18.
