The eighth-ranked Midshipmen posted nearly two-to-one advantages in both faceoffs and groundballs and breezed to an 18-10 Patriot League lacrosse victory over ninth-ranked Army before a record-crowd of 7,114 at Michie Stadium and a world-wide television audience.
So much for the clash between top 10-ranked teams.
"They are a good team," Dingman said of Army, "but we just played extremely well. We saw some of those stats ... and we beat them in just about every facet of the game."
