WEST POINT, N.Y. - Ian Dingman grabbed a stat sheet in Navy's victorious locker room yesterday and could not believe his eyes. The eighth-ranked Midshipmen posted nearly two-to-one advantages in both faceoffs and groundballs and breezed to an 18-10 Patriot League lacrosse victory over ninth-ranked Army before a record-crowd of 7,114 at Michie Stadium and a world-wide television audience.
