Corey Johnson's disputed 3-point shot at the buzzer got Navy into overtime against visiting Stony Brook. The second chance for the Midshipmen went for naught when they allowed the Seawolves to come back from a five-point deficit and pull out an exciting 80-78 victory.
Johnson made only two of 12 shots in the game but the second one, which came after the 3-5 Mids in-bounded the ball with three second remaining in regulation. Navy had that much time only because the trio of officials conferred and decided for some reason that was never explained to add 1.3 seconds to the 1.7 that showed on the game clock.
