Football: Army snatches trophy in prank prior to gamePublished 11/30/05
The day before the commander in chief visited the Naval Academy, school officials discovered they'd been the victims of what could become a classic in the annals of Army-Navy Week pranks: the theft of the mammoth Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. Navy athletic department spokesman Scott Strasemeier confirmed the heist from Ricketts Hall, saying it took place sometime between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. yesterday.
