Men's lacrosse: Mids address lax attitude after upset

Sometimes a head coach can sense things about his team others can't see.

Coach Richie Meade had some concerns about the Navy lacrosse team, even though it had dominated opponents and risen to No. 4 in the national rankings.

Meade voiced those concerns shortly after Navy returned from beating Bucknell 9-5 at the First 4 Invitational in San Diego.

"I told the guys we seemed out of sync and I was worried that we weren't going to have the proper practice time to address a few things," said Meade, who knew the Midshipmen were in the midst of a tough stretch.
