South River High graduate Tom Shelly is expected to anchor the Navy defense when the Mids open play tomorrow in the UMBC Classic at the Catonsville school.The Mids, who open the season tomorrow against Virginia Tech in the UMBC Soccer Classic, will be missing three starters against the Hokies due to injury. Midfielders Brad Feige and Justin Waskey and defenseman Kris Huff will sit out the game, and when they can return to the lineup is unknown.
