Meade can simply play the lack of respect card since the selection committee is sending the Midshipmen on the road to face a team it absolutely destroyed during the regular season.
Navy out-played North Carolina in every facet in posting a convincing 19-8 victory on March 2 in Annapolis. That head-to-head result took a back seat to other factors last night when the 16-team tournament field was unveiled on ESPNU.
