Coach Richie Meade should have no problem motivating the Navy lacrosse team for its first-round game in the NCAA Tournament. 
Coach Richie Meade says respect must be earned.
Meade can simply play the lack of respect card since the selection committee is sending the Midshipmen on the road to face a team it absolutely destroyed during the regular season.
Navy out-played North Carolina in every facet in posting a convincing 19-8 victory on March 2 in Annapolis. That head-to-head result took a back seat to other factors last night when the 16-team tournament field was unveiled on ESPNU.
