Naval Academy athletic director Chet Gladchuk says there is no substance to the rumors that the Midshipmen are considering joining the Big East Conference for football.
Multiple news outlets that cover Big East schools have reported that conference officials engaged in "discussions" with both Navy and Army about becoming associate members for football only.
