Adam Ballard is receiving a rare treat - an opportunity to play a college football game a few miles from where he grew up.
Navy's senior starting fullback was raised in Lewisville, which is about a 10-minute drive down I-35 from the University of North Texas. Ballard will have about 200 family and friends in the stands at Fouts Field on Saturday afternoon when Navy takes on North Texas in the first meeting between the schools.
