Navy's slot backs ran wild in Saturday's 74-62 victory over North Texas, and in the process erased a strange anomaly from the program's record book. White rushed for 131 yards on just seven carries while running mate Zerb Singleton added 103 yards on only eight carries. It marked the first time two slot backs had surpassed the 100-yard plateau in the same game for the Midshipmen, whose offense has featured the position for the better part of the past 13 seasons.
