Mids tackle troubles with solid defensive effortPublished 11/18/07
This time, the Navy defense stood tall.
Maligned all season and coming off a series of embarrassing performances, the Navy defense showed vast improvement yesterday and played a big part in Navy's 35-24 victory over Northern Illinois. Inside linebacker Ross Pospisil led the way with a career-high 20 tackles as the Midshipmen forced a season-high four punts and also created a crucial turnover.
