Navy slot back Zerbin Singleton has toiled for the majority of his career in the background while doing the dirty work of blocking in the triple-option offense and serving on special teams. Find Us On Facebook
Suddenly, as his senior season winds to a close, Singleton is receiving recognition. Last Thursday night, the soft-spoken slot back received the Disney Wide World of Sports Spirit Award, which is given each year to college football's most inspiration figure. He received the award as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards show that was televised live on ESPN and sat alongside such stars as Florida quarterback Tim Tebow and Arkansas running...
