Cards select Navy's Harris

Former Naval Academy pitcher Mitch Harris didn't want to spend the day worrying about the Major League Baseball Draft, sitting in front of a computer and fretting about what round he would be selected.

So Harris and his father went and played golf at a course located on the Fort Meade Army base. Not too far into the round, Harris received a phone call from St. Louis Cardinals scout Colby Perez and was told he'd been selected in the 13th round.
