Boatload of experience buoys Towson for showdown with Navy

The biggest task the Navy Midshipmen will face in their 2008 opener will be to not overlook the Towson Tigers as just another lower division team.

The Tigers had a sub-par season last year in the Colonial Athletic Association - arguably the toughest Football Bowl Subdivision league in the nation - and are looking to turn it a round this season with a proven offense led by talented senior quarterback in Sean Schaefer. The Tigers also are being helped by co captains, linebacker Jordan Manning, safety Drew Mack and receiver Marcus Lee.

Towson had a 3-8 record in an injury-riddled season.
