The McMullen Ice area opened Friday night to the smell of hockey in the air for the first time since March.

Navy Senior Alex Wallis, #15 in white, controls the puck past Jonathan Wheeler, #13 in Blue during the Annual Blue and Gold hockey game Friday.The Navy hockey team took to the ice for its Blue and Gold game, an annual matchup in which all the players are split into two teams and gives Coach Mike Fox a final chance to look at everyone before the season starts. The team is led by 10 returning seniors, including John Patrick Culliton, Jeff Dubinsky and Matt Sweezey.
