One wouldn't think that after five straight winning seasons and a school record for consecutive bowl trips that Navy's football team would need a victory to validate its status as one of the nation's premier programs. Find Us On Facebook
However, for the more pessimistic academy football followers, that's precisely what Saturday's victory over 16th-ranked Wake Forest amounted to. It was a victory that should finally allow some long-time fans to exhale and enjoy these fall moments. During Navy's recent run of success there's usually been something the not-so-faithful could point to denigrate the Mids' achievements...
