Fans and reporters alike have wondered what has changed with the Navy defense the last two games. Navy struggled mightily in back-to-back losses to Ball State and Duke, giving up a total of 76 points and 884 total yards. The Midshipmen could not get a stop to save their lives in those two contests, allowing the Cardinals and Blue Devils to convert 15 of 22 third down situations.
