The Fighting Irish were coming off an embarrassing performance on national television last Saturday night at Boston College where they turned the ball over five times in a 17-0 loss. They turned the ball over three more times in the first half yesterday, but Navy couldn't capitalize and Notre Dame built a big lead in the second half and held on for a 27-21 win in front of a sellout crowd of 70,932 at M&T Bank Stadium.
