Navy didn't play a great game against Howard yesterday afternoon. The Midshipmen shot the ball poorly for the second straight game and had a few defensive lapses. However, the overall effort was better than during the season opener against Towson and the result was a win instead of a loss, so that's progress.
"The only way to learn is to play games and I was glad we were able to play so quickly again after Friday," Navy head coach Billy Lange said. "We wanted to get back out there and improve and I think we took a step forward today."
