Dobbs rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown while defensive backs Rashawn King and Emmett Merchant made clutch interceptions as Navy shut out Northern Illinois 16-0 last night before 17,932 at Huskies Stadium.
Dobbs became just the sixth quarterback in program history to surpass 100 yards rushing in his starting debut. The sophomore displayed poise and confidence in leading Navy's triple-option attack to 294 total yards.
