Navy overwhelms Army for 7th win in row over rivalPublished 12/07/08
PHILADELPHIA - Army entered yesterday's annual showdown against archrival Navy with new-found confidence. Buoyed by a switch to an option offense and defined by a hard-hitting defense, the Black Knights were vastly improved this season.

Navy's Eric Kettani can't be stopped from scoring by Army's Fritz Bentler in the 3rd quarter in Philadelphia. The Midshipmen face off against the Black Knights in Philadelphia for their 109th meeting on the football field. Navy scored on their third play and never looked back dominating the game 34 - 0.
With three victories and three losses by nine points or less, Army was within reach of its first winning season since 1996.
