On Nov. 2, when the Navy football team still had four games to play, starting quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada was ready to retire.

Senior quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada was on the verge of quitting due to a lingering hamstring injury.Frustrated by a hamstring injury that just wouldn't completely heal, Kaheaku-Enhada had decided to call it a career. Kaheaku-Enhada had just started against Temple on Senior Day and was obviously limited. The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder had no acceleration, no burst. Late in the third quarter, Kaheaku-Enhada faked a pitch and tried to shoot through a gap on a play that should have at least produced a first down. Wake Forest game - December 20, 2008
Caipo SHOULD have moved on, and Coach Ken SHOULD have stifled his favoritism toward Caipo and let Rickie Dobbs build his capabilities in the final games. Ken's calls on that offensive set with 3 minutes to go were HORRIBLE, and Caipo's execution nearly as bad. Couldn't we have moved on from such limited offensive contributions, JUST for this game...?
