NAVY HEAVYWEIGHT CREW: The Navy men's heavyweight varsity eight crew placed second in the third level final to finish 14th overall at the IRA National Championship on Saturday at Lake Natoma. The Midshipmen crossed the finish line with a time of 6:11.12, bested only by Princeton's 6:07.35 showing. Navy produced a time that was 2.11 seconds ahead of third-place George Washington, who came into the week ranked one spot ahead the Mids in the IRA Coaches Poll.
