Navy's triple-option offense begins with the fullback dive. The Midshipmen need to establish the ability to run inside in order for the other elements of the offense to work properly.

So it's certainly a concern to the coaching staff that Navy has not been very successful in gaining yardage between the tackles. Fullback Alexander Teich is averaging 57.7 yards per game and that's a dramatic drop off from past years. Eric Kettani averaged 75.5 yards per game as the primary fullback last season.
