Navy starting quarterback Ricky Dobbs did not participate in practice yesterday and was wearing a brace that ran the length of his entire right leg. Head coach Ken Niumatalolo said Dobbs suffered a knee injury against SMU and his playing status was day-to-day. Niumatalolo would not say whether the quarterback would be availabile for this Saturday's Homecoming game against Wake Forest. Niumatalolo spoke in generalities when initially asked about the severity of Dobbs' injury.
