Navy defender excels at multi-tasking

Joshua McKerrow — The Capital Navy linebacker Ross Pospisil, top, is the Mids’ leading tackler and also a leader among the Brigade of Midshipmen, serving as Commander of the 28th Company.
Naval Academy athletics beat writer Bill Wagner and host Dave Broughton, both of The Capital sports department, take a look at the upcoming game against Hawaii on Saturday, November 28.They also discuss the upcoming game against Army on Saturday, December 12.

It's downright amazing how Navy football player Ross Pospisil can be everything to everybody.

Good football player? Check. Pospisil is leading Navy in tackles for the second straight season.

Strong team leader? Check. Pospisil was a unanimous choice as defensive team captain and has earned praise from coaches and teammates for his physical, emotional and spiritual leadership.

Leader within the Brigade of Midshipmen? Check. Pospisil was recently Commander of the 28th Company at the Naval Academy.
