Bass: Serious asset for Mids

Senior offensive lineman Curtis Bass has learned to tone down his wise-cracking ways and has become a key contributor on the offensive line for Navy over the last two seasons.
Midshipmen from the 13th Company run the game ball from Bancroft Hall at the USNA to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for the 110th Army Navy Football game. The 125.4 mile runs starts on Friday at noon and ends just before the start of the game.

Curtis Bass is a fun-loving guy who enjoys a good laugh. Early in his Navy football career, however, the Navy offensive lineman didn't know when to cut up and when to shut up.

"Curtis is an easy-going kid who loves to joke around. Unfortunately, I don't think he knew when it was appropriate to joke around and when it wasn't," Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo said.
