Navy will attempt to keep pace with the early front-runners in the Patriot League when it travels to the District of Columbia tonight to take on American. The Midshipmen stand alone in third place with a 3-2 record in a balanced conference that features seven teams within two games of the lead.
Navy snapped a two-game losing streak by rallying to defeat archrival Army on Saturday and remain one game behind league leaders Lafayette and Lehigh. The Midshipmen are seeking to start 4-2 in the Patriot League for the first time sine 2002.
