Junior forward Romeo Garcia scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures as Navy held off Bucknell 81-79 in a back-and-forth battle in Patriot League men’s basketball last night at Alumni Hall. Find Us On Facebook
Garcia, not known as a great perimeter shooter, drained 5 of 8 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. That was a career-high number of triples for Garcia, who finished 7-for-12 from the field. Junior point guard O.J. Avworo recorded a double-double for the second straight game with 17 points and 10 assists and committed just one turnover for Navy, which improved to 11-12 overall and 5-3 in the Patriot League. ...
