Navy was the preseason favorite to capture the Patriot League championship in a vote of head coaches and sports information directors. Bucknell was tabbed to take the conference title by the experts at Inside Lacrosse.
The Midshipmen and Bison will begin to settle the matter on the field today, although the ultimate champ won't be determined until the Patriot League Tournament in May.
