Survey: Mids keep silent on sex abusePublished 03/19/05
More than 100 male and female Naval Academy midshipmen said they were sexually assaulted from 1999 to 2004, but most did not report it, according to a Pentagon survey released yesterday. The anonymous April 2004 survey was conducted at Congress' request to gauge the climate at the nation's three service academies following a recent high-profile scandal at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
