Anchor - Midshipmen with lowest order of merit in class. Bilge - To backstab or make another look bad. Chest candy - Ribbons awards, insignia. Dark Ages - Period between Christmas and spring break, when bad weather and no breaks make it the most depressing time of the year. E-frys - E-mails notifying mids of conduct offenses. Flamer - Upperclassmen who is excessively harsh on plebes. Geekers - The ugly eyeglasses issued to mids. Also called birth control glasses. Hall rat - A mid who stays in Bancroft Hall all weekend; someone with no social life. Ice cream suit - Short-sleeved white summer...
