Academy ranks among top liberal arts colleges : St. John's protests magazine's rankingsPublished 08/17/07
The latest college rankings place the Naval Academy among the top liberal arts colleges in the country, but again prompted St. John's College to protest the very notion of rating colleges. According to U.S. News & World Report magazine's2008 edition of "America's Best Colleges," the Naval Academy, with a score of 80, ranked 20th among liberal arts colleges in the United States, tied with Oberlin College in Ohio.
