Thousands of spectators crowded both shores of the Severn River yesterday to watch in awe the annual Naval Academy Commissioning Week air show by the Blue Angels.

Four memebers of the Navy's elite aerobatic team the Blue Angels perform for the crowds along the Severn River.
"I just can't wait to get to Pensacola!" said Midshipman 1st Class Jaclyn Morrow of her orders to attend Navy flight school in Florida after graduating from the Naval Academy tomorrow. "It is awesome."
Her boyfriend, Midshipman 1st Class Shawn Hoch of New York, stood nearby as the Navy F/A-18 Hornets thundered overhead. He, too, is headed to flight school in a few months and when asked what he hopes to fly, his answer was straight...
