Donors give blood - get view of countyPublished 08/10/05
The Red Cross is determined to make donating blood a classy affair. At least for Anne Arundel County residents. It just moved its sole donor center in th county to a 10th story penthouse suite in the Empire Tower, 7310 Ritchie Highway, which straddles Crain and Ritchie Highways in Glen Burnie. In true penthouse style, the new space will be dedicated in a 9:30 a.m. ceremony Aug. 22. The public is invited to drop in, check out the new facility, nibble on a continental breakfast - then maybe donate blood. Just make an appointment first.
