CROFTON — The Greater Crofton Council will hold election of officers at its January meeting. The council is an umbrella group for civic, community and athletic associations in the greater Crofton area. The council will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Village Commons Community Center in the Village at Waugh Chapel. The following slate of officers has been nominated by the elections committee: Torrey Jacobsen for president, Dave Gray for vice president, Bess Sharland for secretary and Ben LaPointe for treasurer.
