Grant for Severn stormwater program
ANNAPOLIS -- State officials have approved spending $267,750 to retrofit a stormwater management pond in Severn.
The project will include excavation, weirs, pools and plantings to treat and control stormwater that flows from a 42-acre drainage area in the Severn Station community. A .84-acre wetland also will be created.
The community is in the Severn River watershed.
