Fireworks show set for Kent Narrows KENT ISLAND - Fireworks will light up the sky over Kent Narrows July 4, as Queen Anne's County government and local businesses join forces and funds to create a 300th anniversary Independence Day celebration to include family fun, food, and of course, the fireworks. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Chesapeake Exploration Center, on the northwest side of the Kent Narrows off Piney Narrows Road.
