Orioles make stop at Waugh ChapelPublished 07/19/06
A little bit of our national pastime paid a visit to The Village at Waugh Chapel over the weekend. Baltimore Orioles pitcher Bruce Chen and Crofton resident, third base coach Tom Trebelhorn, spent part of Saturday morning signing autographs and mingling with 200 Orioles fans at the Waugh Chapel Chick-Fil-A. Even the Oriole Bird mascot left his nest long enough to meet some hungry O's fans and give away Orioles T-shirts, gift bags, blankets, and tickets to upcoming Orioles games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Chick-Fil-A owner Brian Smith succinctly summed up his morning with the Orioles. "It was fun," he said....
