Registration deadline for special election
ANNAPOLIS - Residents of Wards 4 and 8 who have not yet registered to vote in the upcoming city special election will have until 9 p.m. today to do so.
Residents may register to vote for the Jan. 30 special general election in the city clerk's office, located on the third floor of 145 Gorman St.
Candidates for the City Council in Ward 4 are Democrat Sheila Finlayson and Republican James M. Conley. Ward 8 candidates are Democrat Ross Arnett and Republican Frank B. Bradley.
