For 36 years Tim Bowman woke up in the morning, put on his blue county police uniform and went to work. Find Us On Facebook
But when he retired from the department Jan. 1, he realized it was probably a bad idea to keep dressing the part of a county police officer.
"I started with my sidearm six hours a day. I've got it to about an hour a day," Capt. Bowman joked last Friday during a retirement party in Linthicum. "It's taking some getting used to."
