Gore movie trains in global warming
SHADY SIDE - There are several upcoming opportunities to learn about global warming from local residents who have been trained by former vice president Al Gore.
Mr. Gore's film, "An Inconvenient Truth," explains the problems of global warming and has spawned interest in the issue.
He has trained environmental activists - including several Marylanders - to give authorized versions of the slide show featured in his movie.
