S.P. resident promotes women through national groupPublished 02/20/07
For longtime Severna Park resident Lynn Hapchuk, being involved with the American Association of University Women and its local branch is about something bigger than herself. "There's a satisfaction in knowing you're making a difference for a better society," Mrs. Hapchuk said. Mrs. Hapchuk has been a member of the county's branch of AAUW for 23 years, the last seven of which she has been actively involved in the national group's lobbying efforts in Washington, D.C.
