Dr. Magaly Rodriguez de Bittner's luggage was a little bit heavier when she flew back from the annual meeting of the American Pharmacists Association in Atlanta in mid-March. She was bringing home the organization's prestigious Community Pharmacy Residency Excellence in Precepting Award. "The AphA wanted to recognize pioneers in pharmacy leadership and mentoring - that's what precepting means," she said. "You have to be nominated by a resident, one of the people you train.
