The 3700 block of Mountain Road in Pasadena is a bustling place. But the old Magothy United Methodist Church property appears to be an oasis of peace and tranquility.
That's what several local community groups are hoping as they prepare to dedicate Harmony House, a model for county foster care programs statewide. Its grand opening is 9 a.m. tomorrow.
In a pilot program, the Harmony House will be used by approximately 100 of the 280 county children currently in foster care.
