Girl Scouts visit State House to learn and to lobbyPublished 02/27/08
About 150 Girl Scouts went to the State House Friday to meet local lawmakers, and to lobby for funding to expand the current Baltimore office for the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Council.

Accompanied by 65 adult leaders and chaperones, they attended the Girl Scouts' Annual Maryland Legislative Day.
And the Senior, Cadette and Junior Scouts took along some cookies. Senate Bill 643 seeks $450,000 to expand the Girl Scout office at 4806 Seton Drive in Baltimore.
