It was a scene straight out of the movies - or, maybe, Broadway. After watching the New York City Rockettes Christmas Show at Radio City Hall last Thanksgiving Day, Severna Park High senior Kyle Van Zandt trooped backstage with his family.

Days before tonight's opening performance of 'Rock 'n' Roll Revival XIX,' a sold out show, Severna Park High senior Kyle Van Zandt, 17, the show's student co-director and one of its performers, sits among all the spotlights that still need to be set above the stage in the school's auditorium.
In a dingy rehearsal space between shows, filled with racks of costumes, a table was laid out with a catered Thanksgiving feast for "the girls" and their guests. Kyle pulled up a seat and sat down, surrounded by the world-famous, long-legged dancers. He was in show biz heaven.
