County farmers get hot spot at Westfield AnnapolisPublished 07/14/08
Shopping malls generally aren't thought of as the best places to buy local produce, but Westfield Annapolis mall officials are hoping to change that. The mall donated space outside of its Sears Automotive Center for the newest area farmers market, which will be open on Sundays during the summer from noon to 3 p.m. Like the other Anne Arundel County Farmers' Markets, the new location sells local produce, meat, jams, plants, jewelry and even bath salts and soap, among other items.
